Welcome to artmellow Summer Art Camp

A creative and educational experience for young artists ages 5+ at our family-owned boutique art school in Falls Church, VA.

Our camp features a personalized, individual approach where each student can explore their own artistic interests while receiving step-by-step guidance from professional instructors. Campers enjoy painting, drawing, mixed media, and creative craft projects in a warm, supportive, and inspiring environment.

  • Still Life Drawing & Painting
    Learn the fundamentals of composition, observation, shading, and color through classic still life studies.

    Oil & Acrylic Canvas Painting
    Create paintings from photographs or prints while exploring layering, texture, blending, and painting techniques.

    Watercolor Painting
    Experiment with watercolor techniques including washes, color mixing, light effects, and fluid composition.

    Whether your child is new to art or looking to develop advanced skills, ARTMELLOW Summer Art Camp offers a creative, educational, and supportive environment where students can explore, learn, and express themselves through a wide variety of artistic projects.

  • After-Hours Care Available (3 PM – 6 PM) — $200/week
    Extended care is available for families needing additional flexibility after full day camp hours. Students continue spending time in a creative, supervised studio environment with drawing, crafts, games, and independent art activities. Limited spots available.

    $520/week | $130 single day

    9:10 AM – 10:30 AM – Project I

    10:30 AM – 11:00 AM – Snack Break

    11:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Project II

    12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – Lunch & Art History Lesson

    1:30 PM – 2:50 PM – Project III

    2:50 PM – 3:00 PM – Pick Up

    Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM –12:00 PM, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
    $350/week | $90 single day

    Half Day Camp Schedule

    3:00 PM – Drop Off

    3:10 PM – 4:30 PM – Project I

    4:30 PM – 4:50 PM – Snack Break

    4:50 PM – 5:50 PM – Project II

    5:50 PM – 6:00 PM – Pick Up

Camp Policy

  • Non-Refundable: Please note that our camp fees are non-refundable.

  • Materials: All materials provided are high-quality, Nontoxic and safe for use.

  • Health & Safety: If your child has any health conditions, special needs, or allergies, please inform the instructor ahead of time so we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

Steps to Book a Camp:

  1. Please press ‘BOOK A CAMP’ button

  2. Scroll down until you see “Packages.”

  3. Find: Art Summer Camp full day (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or half day ( 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM)

  4. Add it to your cart and complete the payment.

  5. Once payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation code via email.

  6. Using this code, please schedule 5 consecutive days using our online calendar.

  7. Please download and fill out the Art Camp Waiver form before your child’s first day of camp.
